Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most famous role is Skyler White in the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna had a brief stint working in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler appeared as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play show called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's life.
